Concentrix Solar is a division of the Soitec Group

Production according to the principles of sustainability is a central concern of Concentrix Solar. It is our aim to take care of the resources in all areas of business, and by the production and installation we take heed of low material and energy consumption.

One indicator of the resource-sparing production of our FLATCON^® power plants is the required energy use in relation to the energy production of the system during operation.

Investigations by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE show that the energy amortization time of the FLATCON^® systems installed at sunny locations is only 11 to 14 months. This means that after about one year of operation, a FLATCON^® module power plant has produced exactly the amount of energy that was needed for its manufacture. After this point, the power plant provides environmentally friendly solar electricity for the next 25 years without harmful emissions and without harming the climate.
