Concentrix Solar constructed the 100 kW unit for the concentrator PV large power plant in Puertollano, Spain. Founding of Concentrix Iberia, a joint venture from Concentrix Solar and Abengoa Solar.
December 2007
Begin of the construction work in Puertollano for the first building phase of the large power plant in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain for which Concentrix Solar is contributing 500 kW.

Abengoa Solar becomes investor in Concentrix Solar.

Concentrix Solar successfully passes the type tests of its 5.75 kW system and fulfills all of the technical criteria according to the international IEC Norm 62108 for the construction of its 500 kW power plant in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.

First demonstration power plant is successfully brought into operation in Lorca, Spain.

As a result of an international competition, Concentrix Solar is awarded a contract to participate with 500 kW power in the construction of the biggest yet concentrator PV power plant in Spain.
